2021 In-Country Training Programs
The Programs
There are currently no programs planned for 2021. The earliest we envisage an in-country program could be conducted is the second half of the year.
We are continuing to monitor the situation and consult with our Indo-Pacific partners and other bodies, e.g. the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, on what might be possible and when.
Our newsletters will provide updates.
However, webinars and other means of remote support continue to be provided, with plans for further expansion in 2021.

One Last Thing
Some 100 medical and nursing trainers have contributed to the ANZGITA program over the past 12 years – many on multiple occasions. Almost universally they have found it an extremely rewarding experience – if at times quite challenging. We are always keen to include new trainers and ensure that trainers are from all regions of Australia and New Zealand, from both teaching and regional hospitals, from public and private sectors, of all ages and both genders.
