Funding from the former AusAID program as well as other Australian Government funding underpinned the Fiji work of ANZGITA's predecessor organisation GEFiTT via contributions towards accommodation and air travel for volunteers.
Over the 2012 - 2015 period the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) funded the Partnership in the Pacific (PiP) program. ANZGITA has been a recipient of funds indirectly via the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), which chose to support ANZGITA's Fiji programs from monies granted to it under the program.
The Australian High Commissions in Fiji and Myanmar have also provided in-country support for our work.
We have received support from:
- The Fiji Minister for Health and Medical Services (Honourable Jone Usamate) who also visited the training centre during the 2105 program.
- The Fiji High Commission in Australia.
